The Alnwick Garden Trust is a registered charity, a modern garden combining sculpture, water features, and beautiful plants to create a wonderful family attraction.  Although famous for its stunning landscapes, the real impact happens beyond the paths and waterfalls as the heart of the garden lies in our amazing community programmes, such as:

🌼 Elderberries – offering friendship, activities, and essential support for older people to reduce loneliness and isolation.
🌱 Roots and Shoots – helping young people build confidence and skills through hands-on horticulture.
🌿 Accessible gardening and wellbeing programmes such as The Young Gardeners, where we create safe spaces for people with disabilities, long-term health conditions, or those in need of social connection, providing a space for them to develop friendships and social groups.
🌸 Family and community outreach projects – bringing local families together to learn, play, and grow.
